https://journalfad.ukdw.ac.id/index.php/MORPHID/article/view/465 Identifikasi Ita bag Ideal: Untuk Kebutuhan Mobilitas Otaku 2026-02-10T09:38:22+00:00 Annisa Arryn [email protected] Noel Febry Ardian [email protected] Hendriana Werdhaningsih [email protected] Farahiyah Inarah Putri [email protected]
The popularity of anime among otaku has increased their interest in merchandise, including bags designed to carry their favorite items in style. Otaku are willing to spend money to gain emotional satisfaction and attachment to the anime world. This phenomenon encourages them to attend community events while seeking bags that are not only stylish but also practical, flexible, and compatible with their mobility. This study aims to design an ideal Ita bag, which can accommodate favorite items and is tailored to the needs of otaku when attending events. The study employs a quantitative approach, using otaku opinions as a reference in designing the bag. The design process focuses on creating a bag for otaku mobility, with a nearly circular shape and internal partitions to enhance functionality. The final result is a bag that can be customized to users' needs, making it the only bag used by otaku when traveling to hobby events.
2026-03-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 MORPHID https://journalfad.ukdw.ac.id/index.php/MORPHID/article/view/467 Eksplorasi Material Komposit Resin Epoksi dan Polimorf Termoplastik dengan Penambahan Batu bara Antrasit sebagai Material Perhiasan 2026-02-19T02:35:10+00:00 Sabila Tiara Hendrika [email protected] Cucu Sutianah [email protected] Ghia Jayanti [email protected]
This research aims to explore the use of anthracite coal as an alternative material in jewellery making. Anthracite coal has distinct physical characteristics, such as a deep black colour, natural lustre, and high density and hardness. The core issue addressed in this study is how the exploration process, by adding chemical materials such as epoxy resin and polymeric thermoplastics, can enhance the quality of anthracite coal for use in jewellery. The objective of this study is to examine the potential and material characteristics of anthracite coal for use in jewellery product design. The research was conducted using a design-by-doing method, involving hands-on experimentation at the Legam Jewellery studio. The results indicate that the proportions of materials, forming techniques, and heating methods significantly affect the final material quality, in terms of both structural strength and visual appeal. The final design is a minimalist jewellery set with circular forms and textures tailored to young users' preferences. The study concludes that anthracite coal has significant potential as a jewellery material, adding value to abundant natural resources. The benefits of this research include advancing knowledge of alternative materials, fostering growth in the creative industry, and empowering communities through innovative jewellery products.
2026-03-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 MORPHID https://journalfad.ukdw.ac.id/index.php/MORPHID/article/view/466 Perancangan Waist Bag dengan Fitur Fungsional untuk Pengendara Motor Sport dan Naked: Studi Preferensi Pengguna dan Uji Prototipe 2026-02-13T07:35:20+00:00 Hafidh Tri Lakwito [email protected] Noel Febry Ardian [email protected] Hendriana Werdhaningsih [email protected] Farahiyah Inarah Putri [email protected]
Sports bikers often face the challenge of carrying luggage in a practical and safe manner. Various types of bags, such as backpacks, sling bags, and waist bags, are used to fulfill this need. However, there remains a lack of locally designed products specifically for sport bikers, particularly in the waist bag category. A survey of sport bikers indicated a significant need for functional waist bags that fit the desired size and features. By developing waist bags that meet the specific needs of sport bikers, local manufacturers can not only tap into an open market but also contribute to improved user comfort and safety. The purpose of this research is to investigate the dimensions and features that sportbike and Naked bike riders need in a waist bag to improve their comfort and practicality while riding. The final result of this research is a waist bag with a dynamic design and features that can help riders.
2026-03-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 MORPHID https://journalfad.ukdw.ac.id/index.php/MORPHID/article/view/457 Pemanfaatan Sisa Potongan Kulit Sapi dalam Desain Aksesoris Fesyen Janera Leather 2026-02-10T09:10:15+00:00 Agnes Jennifer Santoso [email protected] Centaury Harjani [email protected] Dan Daniel Pandapotan [email protected]
Janera Leather is a startup that addresses the problem of leather-industry waste, particularly leftover cowhide pieces that are often considered worthless and discarded or sold cheaply. In fact, these leftover cowhide pieces have strong, flexible, and durable characteristics that almost resemble intact leather. Although they are only in pieces, they retain high utility and aesthetic value. This problem prompted Janera Leather to develop a functional, valuable fashion accessory design using a creative, efficient approach. This design aims to create competitive, entrepreneurial products that meet the needs of active women aged 20-40. The research process involved conducting literature reviews, observing competitors, interviewing target markets and craftsmen, and distributing questionnaires. The design employs the Collin Clipson method, the Business Model Canvas (BMC), the 4P + 3P marketing strategy, and the SCAMPER creative method. The patchwork technique is applied to unite leather pieces into unique, attractive, and exclusive products.
2026-03-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 MORPHID https://journalfad.ukdw.ac.id/index.php/MORPHID/article/view/464 Tradisi Kenduri sebagai Basis Inovasi Desain Sarana Sajian Masakan Sunda 2026-02-10T09:08:48+00:00 Karen Elvina [email protected] Koniherawati [email protected]
The Kenduri tradition is a communal meal observed as an expression of gratitude, a prayerful request, or a commemoration of significant events, typically conducted through shared dining, with nasi tumpeng as the central dish. This tradition embodies values of togetherness, mutual cooperation, and respect for others. This study aims to develop a food-serving medium that integrates these values within a contemporary cultural context. Modern gathering practices—such as eating with family or friends during casual hangouts (“nongkrong”) and conversations at restaurants—reflect a continuity of social values found in the Kenduri tradition, albeit in a more casual form. This becomes the foundation for designing a product that is both culturally relevant and functionally appropriate. The SCAMPER method was employed to explore product idea development, while the ATUMICS method was used to extract traditional values as design inspiration. The product was designed by adapting the tampah (a traditional woven bamboo tray) as a food-serving base and equipping it with a handle to replace the tray. The final design takes the form of a triangle, inspired by the philosophical meaning of tumpeng, which symbolizes the harmonious relationship between humans, God, and nature. Research findings indicate that the developed design successfully integrates traditional values into a modern food-service context in Sundanese restaurants while also providing a functional solution for both food service and food transport.
2026-03-01T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2026 MORPHID
